When something is right, it just feels right!
I spend a lot of time running new piano teaching resources through my mind. To the rest of the world it seems like I’m just sitting at a desk staring out the window.
But in reality, my mind is working a million miles a minute, trying to hit on that resource that gives me the unmistakeable twinge in my gut that tells me I’ve discovered the “can’t miss” concept I’ve been waiting for.
Three months ago (after way more than three months of window-staring) I hit upon that concept …
In this case, my gut was telling me I’d stumbled upon a resource that would revolutionize an aspect of piano lessons that has become stale and boring, and has resulted in way too many piano students giving up on lessons way too soon.
What is it?… Watch This!
After watching the video, keep reading for a fantastic pre-release offer, a sneak peek, and a sample of this exciting resource. (Note – turn up your computer’s volume)
We promise… you’ve never seen a technical exercise resource like TEDDtales. Our interactive, story-based approach will have your piano students begging (that’s right, we said it!) to do their technical exercises.
Now your piano students can improve their note-reading, sight-reading, finger strength, and muscle coordination with a resource that brings technique to life, and encourages them to play with emotion and feeling (something that technical exercises in the past have simply been unable to accomplish).
When note reading and muscle coordination improve, kids progress faster… and when kids progress faster they feel more successful and less frustrated… and when they feel more successful and less frustrated they stick with piano lessons!

TEDDtales Level 1 Launches August 12th!
On August 12th we’ll be releasing Level 1 in the TEDDtales series. Level 1 is designed for children ages 6 – 10 years old, who have been working in a Book 1 or have moved into a Book 2 of a beginning method series. It has 72 technical exercises interwoven into 24 stories that will last an entire year of lessons!
On August 12th we’ll also be launching the TEDDtales website. With your personal password your students will be able to play along with their iPad or computer as professional voice actors narrate each story. This way, technical exercises will still get done even if an adult isn’t around to read a TEDDtale!
Get on the Pre-Release List today!
And It Gets Better!
Just like our other products, the TEDDtales Series will be released as a digital download, meaning your purchase will include an unlimited license to print as many copies as you need… forever (as long as they will be used by you, with your own piano students). Printed copies cannot be resold, but a small student charge to cover your photocopying costs is permitted.

Looks awesome! Well done!
Jeanette says
Does the digital book use sheet music for the exercises? Or does it say something like, play the C major scale?
Trevor says
Hi Jeanette – yes, the exercises are written out as sheet music and are short exercises composed as “mini-pieces” which bring the TEDDtale to life!
Marguerite Knudsen says
Another great idea! Thank you Andrea and Trevor for your generosity!

I purchased TEDDTales when you first put it out. We’ve used it on and off in lessons over the past two years. The kids really look forward to it when I pull it out! This year I am teaching in units. Do you have an index of what concept goes to what story? Another question I have is the password for TEDDTales.com. I would like to send some sheets home with students and have them work on these independently. Do they need to buy this in order to get a password or do I just send them a copy of the recording I have with my files?
Andrea says
Hi Barbara – can you email me as I can’t share passwords on a public page 🙂 The password is free and intended for home practice – and I’m happy to answer your questions further over email too 🙂
Kathy Schmidt says
Hi:
Just wondering when you anticipate TeddTales 2 to be released. My students keep asking me for it.
Andrea says
Hi Kathy – we’re part-way through Book 2. As we also write all 24 of the stories ourselves it’s super labour-intensive (and PianoBookCub and PianoGameClub keep us hopping these days!) We do have every intention of finishing the 2nd book. Bear with us and know that it’s on our list for sure 🙂 Happy to hear they are enjoying Book 1 so much!
Mindy Byerts says
Is there any way for us to see a sample of the sheet music?
Andrea says
Hi Mindy, I’ve just emailed you a sample pack! 🙂

is it possible to see a sample of teddtales music?
