Probably not… but you should.
If you want your advertising dollars to work hard for you, it is essential that you track your marketing campaigns. There are many ways you can advertise a piano teaching studio (I’ll get to that in another post!) but all are not made equal. Some work better than others. Some don’t work at all. Some work well for attracting young families. Some work well for attracting retirees.
Do you know which advertising strategies are getting the job done for your potential clients? If not… start asking.
Every time a client phones our music school looking for lessons we always ask how they “found” us. This is certainly not the first thing we ask, but at some point (often in a follow-up email) we get our answer. With this important information we can track which advertising tools are working and which advertising tools can be kicked to the curb.
We then throw a lot of money at the advertising strategies that are hitting it out of the park, and pull money from the “stinkers”. Give it a try… your studio population will go through the roof.
