Playing for Change Day is less than a week away. The schedule is tight and your piano studios probably just got rolling after summer break, but if you could swing it, what a great thing to be a part of. Even if you can’t create an event, you can show your support by attending an event in your local community.
This incredible event is in its first year and will have musicians all over the world playing on street corners, in cafes, and on concert hall stages, raising money to support music and arts programs for young people around the world. Funds raised will go towards building schools, funding programs, and purchasing instruments.

Playing for Change Day is on September 17. You can visit their website at playingforchangeday.org and create an event or attend an event. In future years (like I said, time is tight) this could be a great way to launch the start of your music year! Can you create an event in time :)? Leave a comment below.
