Little kids express themselves in the funniest ways. Take our daughter Lexi for example; whenever something wonderful and exciting happens, she gets overwhelmed with joy and starts making everyone cards. She just has the need to make everyone around her feel as good as she does.
Well today, Andrea and I feel just like Lexi does when Grandpa surprises her with a trip to the Dairy Queen. Because today is the last day of International Week of the Piano Geek and we are overwhelmed with joy at the response it has received! It has been an incredible experience interacting with such a passionate community of piano teachers.
To share our “feel good” mood we’ve posted links below to 5 of our happiest, and certainly most popular, piano teaching posts. Hope you enjoy!

I know it must have been amazing! I wish I could have been present this week, but my students have a performance this weekend, so life was too too hectic! Any chance you may repeat this wonderful event next year in the summer when business is slow?

Thank you, Andrea and Trevor! I feel like I was given a huge Treasure Chest and I will spend the summer picking out gold doubloon after gold doubloon of good ideas and helpful hints. I spent SO MUCH time at thefameschoolblog the other night. My poor family had to eat hot dogs because I was glued to my screen. Click, another good idea, click, ooooh another one!
We are taking a leap of faith and opening a music school in the fall, called Minds on Music LLC, and your priceless gifts this week are so much appreciated. I’m diving into group lessons and probably Skype as well. God help me, I can barely sleep this week because of all the excitement in the air!
This profession very much needs people like you and all of the fresh, dynamic and exciting bloggers and guests you’ve had this week. I’m thrilled to be on the cutting edge of the Piano Geek Revolution!
Sleepless in Gulf Breeze,
Kelly Koch
