If you’re a Teach Piano Today Superfan then you are probably familiar with The Adventures of Fearless Fortissimo: our comic-based piano repertoire for action-obsessed boys and high-energy girls.
The Adventures of Fearless Fortissimo was our VERY FIRST piano book. Since then we have composed the WunderKeys Preschool and Primer Method Books and over 60 PianoBookClub releases (while creating over 200 piano games for PianoGameClub!)
But we never forgot about Fearless Fortissimo… we were just a little busy. And now it’s time to bring him back.
We have retired the original Fearless Fortissimo music and we have released a brand new Fearless Fortissimo three-book series that is available on Amazon! Designed for kids between the ages 8 and 12 who are playing in a level 2 method book or above, the thrilling music and comic-based adventure fills the gap between kids who are getting a little too “mature” for method book music but aren’t yet ready for The Amadeus Anthems or The Beethoven Sessions.
Check out the covers of The Adventures of Fearless Fortissimo Series 1: The Carolforte Trilogy below – NOW available!
A Fearless Fortissimo Rhythm Printable
Trevor and I love sharing free resources to accompany the music we release on Amazon. Over the past year we have shared dozens of printables to be used with our WunderKeys Preschool and Primer Method Books and more recently we have been sharing teen resources to be used with our Classical Pop Piano Solo Collections.
With our release of The Adventures of Fearless Fortissimo books we are going to continue this tradition of giving. So, get ready for a ton of fun Fearless Fortissimo printables that will bring some BAM!, ZAAAP! and KAPOW! to your studio.
Below you will find an action-based rhythm printable for your superhero piano students. Your students have a blast providing a rhythmic body-percussion accompaniment to a cool piece of music (the music provided is an excerpt from one of the Fearless Fortissimo piano pieces in our upcoming release so consider it a sneak-peak preview!) You can have fun with it as a quick and fun rhythm activity, or you can send the piece home with your student to learn so you can switch roles at the next lesson!

SO HAPPY to hear Fearless Fortissimo is making a comeback!! Just in time for my new piano year start date. You are definitely filling a huge need with the age and level you are targeting with this new series. Can’t thank you enough. Hope some of the go-along printables will include notes and intervals;)
Andrea says
Hi Barbara – yes, we have plans to release a lot of coordinating printables so that your students who are psyched about their music can continue their theory and ear training in the same theme. We know that’s really motivating for kids – and these new comics are insanely cool 😉
LINDA KIRKCONNELL says
My students LOVE Fearless Fortissimo! Me too!
Andrea says
Hi Linda! So glad 🙂 We hope they enjoy the new music and comics in the upcoming books! 🙂
Kara Wardell says
Oh my word, yay!!! My students ALL alive Fearless Fortissimo! Even my advanced students ask about it, so I use it for sight reading lol. Will these new books be new adventures or edits of the previous releases?
Andrea says
Hi Kara! All three books will be ALL NEW! New story line, new comics and brand new music 🙂 We’re really excited to release them!
Lisa B. says
This is awesome, thanks! 🙂 So excited about the new Fearless Fortissimo!
Andrea says
Hi Lisa! You’re welcome – we hope your students have fun with it 🙂
Patsy Clark says
Yay! Yay! and Yay! My students love Fearless FF and he has even shown up on recital day. The driving bass rhythms are the best. I look forward to more of him.
Andrea says
Hi Patsy! So glad your students love Fearless Fortissimo! They’ll go nuts for the new books – I’m sure of it 🙂 Thanks for your kind comment!
Nancy says
Sounds fun! Will the new books be available as digital files (to print multiple copies)? Or as physical books? Or both?
Andrea says
Hi Nancy! The new books will be hardcopy only on Amazon 🙂 This means all of your students can have full-color, amazing books without having to worry about ink at all. The comics are so incredible they need to be full-page, full color 😉
Sandra says
I would like to see the original FF available as books as well. …My students make a mess of printed versions in their binders and treat a book with more respect.
Also think that Guardians of Arranmore, and Silver Screen Playbook would do well as a book. Both oare very popular with my teens and pre-teens.
Andrea says
Hi Sandra! Yes, Fearless Fortissimo will be a hardcopy book – these three are brand new so it’s really exciting – and the books are so amazing that your students won’t only treat them with respect, they’ll probably sleep with them under their pillows 😉 You’ll be happy to know that Guardians of Arranmore (and a sequel!) is also going to be in hardcopy this fall.
Debbie says
Is there a way to still get the original Fearless Fortissimo books?? If I had known those were going to be retired I would have snagged them up! I don’t have any teenage students yet, but will before long and I’d love to have those originals! 🙂
G Alewine says
So,so happy! Several of my students have learned the pieces from FF and loved to play them. We have been waiting excitedly for a sequel!
Ellen DuBois says
My student loved this! We tapped, clapped, lapped out the rythms and played the accompanying song. It was a great change up on a hot, humid day. My student enjoyed doing it, caught on very quickly and I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful, fun and engaging learning materials you provide. Thank YOU!
Regina Ziliani says
Wow! These look so fun and will definitely be a hit with a few boys I know! Thanks so much for your (always) incredible creative materials.
