If you want an easy way to attract new students this month, try highlighting piano lessons as a last-minute gift. It works. Every year. Families are hunting for meaningful presents, and your studio is exactly what they’re hoping to find.
That’s why having a polished, professional gift certificate ready to go is so important. It lets you say “yes!” the moment someone asks if lessons can be given as a gift.
So today, we’re sharing our updated Christmas Piano Lesson Gift Certificates. They’re cute, cheerful, and designed to make your studio look gift-ready in seconds.
Add them to your holiday toolkit, and you’ll be prepared for every December inquiry that comes your way.

How to spread the word (and fill your schedule)
Teachers who keep their schedules full know this: your best advertising starts with the families already in your studio. And that’s especially true with Christmas Piano Lesson Gift Certificates. Your piano parents are already searching for meaningful gifts for their extended family and friends—nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers—people who aren’t yet in your studio.
So start close to home. Let your current families know you’re offering gift certificates this year, and make it easy for them to share the idea with the people in their wider circle.
Here’s how to set everything up quickly and professionally:
- When someone purchases a certificate, print the design below and use a sharpie to fill in the number of lessons.
- In your bookkeeping, record both the purchaser’s name and the recipient’s name.
- Leave the “To” and “From” spaces blank so the gift-giver can complete them.
- Add an expiry date on the back of the certificate.
- And if required in your area, include this note on the back: This gift certificate is not redeemable for cash.
Once these new students arrive for their first lessons, give them a great start. And before their certificates run out, invite them to continue in the same timeslot…many will be excited to stay on!
The gift certificates are available to download at the bottom of the post, but first…
