So today, we’re sharing a Superhero Song Sampler.
It is a 6-line solo taken from one of the longer pieces in the book, where a traditional superhero comic sets the stage for some seriously motivating Level 2 piano music.
Your students can play it this week, feel the style, and get a taste of the comic-book piano energy coming on Tuesday, June 16th.
And here’s the big news.
This book will be studio-licensed. But it will only be available for 11 days.
After that, it returns to the vault.
So this sample is your chance to hear the sound, test the level, and decide which students are ready to jump into Hero Mode when the full book arrives.
This Superhero Song Sampler gives your Level 2 students a fast, exciting taste of music that feels bigger, bolder, and more performance-ready than a typical assignment piece.
Hero Mode is our name for Level 2 challenge music. Students take on comic-book-style solos with dramatic accidentals, faster tempos, soaring melodies, powerful dynamics, and left hand patterns that make the piano rumble.
But the pieces stay playable.
Students will use familiar Level 2 skills, including one-octave scales in D minor, A minor, and G major, 4/4, 3/4, and 6/8 time, eighth notes, eighth rests, and the interval of a 6th.
In the full book, students begin with a two-page comic adventure. Then seven piano pieces follow the biggest action points in the story.
That means students are not just playing notes.
They are playing the chase, the danger, the mystery, and the big heroic moments.
