The greatest “piano teacher Christmas gift” is a full schedule of students. And, if your studio has lost students over the past few years, it is especially true this Christmas.
But lost students are starting to come back, and I predict that teacher schedules are going to look pretty good in 2024!
Of course, your studio won’t fill itself. If you need more students you have to find ways to get noticed.
In today’s post, we’re sharing Christmas Piano Lesson Gift Certificates to help you grow your studio.
When people are looking for a last-minute gift for someone who has it all, your wonderful piano lessons will be just what they want.

The Best Way To Use Our Christmas Piano Lesson Gift Certificates
Teachers who are effective at filling their studio schedules know that the best way to advertise is to begin with your current students.
This is particularly true when it comes to Christmas Piano Lesson Gift Certificates. You can be certain that a student’s mom or dad is looking for a unique gift for a friend, a cousin, an aunt, or an uncle.
So, your best bet is to reach out to your current piano families and let them know that you are offering Christmas Piano Lesson Gift Certificates this year.
To get started, follow these instructions:
- When someone inquires about your offer, print out the certificate below and, on the blank line beside the words, “Piano Lesson Gift Certificate”, use a sharpie to write in the number of lessons purchased.
- In your accounting records, write the name of the person who purchased the certificate and the name of the person who is receiving the certificate.
- Leave the “To” and “From” sections blank, as the purchaser may want to complete these sections.
- On the back of the certificate write an expiry date for the certificate.
- Finally (important!), some jurisdictions may require you to write the following on a gift certificate: This gift certificate is not redeemable for cash. Write this on the back if necessary.
With a few wow-worthy piano lessons with your gift certificate recipients, you can be sure that you’ll get some continuing students! Don’t miss the opportunity and let them drift away; be sure to offer them a chance to continue with you in their same timeslot if they register before their certificate runs out!

If you haven’t surprised your piano students with incredible Christmas music you still have time!
Recently we released two primer Christmas songbooks that are getting rave reviews.
The Flight Of The Christmas Tree and Comet’s Freezing Cold Carols are jam-packed with songs, note reading games, sight reading, warm-ups, practice trackers, and more.
Even if you finish teaching in early December, sending one of these books home with a student during the Christmas break will ensure a ton of practice happens over the holidays.

Great idea for a unique gift! Thank You for sharing with us!
You’re so welcome!
Thanks so much for these cute certificates! I just had a family ask about giving lessons as a gift and I was able to print these out for them to choose from. You are so generous with your free resources!
Also, LOVE your nuts for Alpha Notes book. Great bridge for kids who are learning to read on lines & spaces. One of my little girls squealed, “Oh that squirrel is so cute I just can’t stop looking at it!” Her mom commented to me a month later that she can’t believe how much that book increased her daughter’s desire to practice the piano.
Awe I’m thrilled to read all of this! 🙂 So glad you’re loving the Nuts for Alpha notes book 🙂
