Good things come to those who wait!
If you’ve been waiting for a game-changing, supplementary piano resource for teens, the moment is almost here!
Next week, for the first time ever, intermediate teen repertoire is being added to Andrea and Trevor Dow’s Very Useful Piano Library with a NEW level and a NEW book.
And we are beyond excited!!!
In anticipation of next week’s release, today we are sharing a preview of three pieces from the upcoming book.

Finally, New Piano Music For Your Intermediate Players
It has been a very long time since we last released intermediate teen piano music.
Despite being some of our best-selling books, you would have to go all the way back to February 2020 to find our last release, The Guardians of Castlemore.
What can we say… we’ve been busy! Since that time we have released our Older Beginner Series, our Elementary Level 2 Series, and 25 primer and level 1 books to The Very Useful Piano Library.
But, now it’s time for your teens! Because next week we are releasing something entirely new.
The Very Useful Piano Library Sounds Like Never Before!
The demand for intermediate repertoire is enormous. Every day we receive emails from teachers looking for more teen music.
So, that is why the next level being added to the V. U. Library is not R, S, or T (they will come later) but X.
V. U. Level X is where intermediate repertoire begins.
If you are familiar with the V. U. Library, then you know that the music in these popular piano books serves as the soundtrack to hilarious, story-based adventures.
In V. U. Level X we stay true to our story-based approach while letting the music pull a more mature and mysterious plot forward.
Think of it like this… The Very Useful Piano Library meets The Hunger Games!
Let’s Dig A Little Deeper Into Next Week’s Release
“In shadows’ grip, her hands toiled, while dreams whispered hope through the burdens she carried.”
And so begins the magic and music of The Cinderella Solos… a story told through powerful piano pieces and their breathtaking melodies.
Your intermediate teen players will be captivated as they play through the soundtrack of this familiar tale, experienced in a brand new way!

In this first intermediate teen book, your players will hone their skills playing two-octave piano tunes in the C major and A minor scales. While it can be used as a standalone resource, the music correlates with Unit 1 and Unit 2 from WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Studies For Piano 1.
And, as with all V. U. Library books, supplementary activities like warm-ups, ledger line note timed tests, sight reading, and rhythm activities are all included.
Sound exciting? Wait until you hear the music!
