This is my favorite season for piano printables!
From September’s back-to-school themes to October’s Halloween resources to December’s Christmas magic, finding inspiration for new music activities is a piece of pumpkin pie 🙂
In today’s post, we are sharing two Halloween-themed note reading practice trackers.
The first reinforces reading A, B, middle C, D, and E in middle C position and the second reinforces reading Bass F, G, A, B, and middle C in middle C position.
While they can be used as standalone activities, one coordinates with Bat von Flapp’s Fairy Tales and Scary Tunes, Level D and the other coordinates with Mummy Rocks The Costume Contest, Level G.

Time Is Running Out To Get Your Halloween Piano Books
While you have plenty of time to print our Halloween-themed printables, the time to stock up on your supplementary Halloween piano books is right now.
Bat von Flapp’s Fairy Tales and Scary Tunes and Mummy Rocks The Costumer Contest are from Andrea and Trevor Dow’s Very Useful Piano Library. They are jam-packed with piano pieces (including duets), note-reading games, warm-up exercises, sight-reading activities, a rhythm activity, a practice tracker, and a certificate of achievement.
Bat von Flapp’s Fairy Tales and Scary Tunes, V. U. Level D (available here) is an early primer resource that helps young kids gain confidence playing with A, B, C, D, and E in middle C position.
Mummy Rocks The Costume Context, V. U. Level G (available here) is a mid-primer resource that delights students who can play stepping and skipping notes in 3/4 and 4/4 time.
