This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Andrea Dow and Trevor Dow DBA Teach Music Today Learning Solutions.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
This site collects personal information when a visitor leaves a comment, subscribes to our e-newsletter, or submits a question via our contact form. In these cases the submitted information is stored so that we may respond to your inquiries and comments and deliver the e-newsletter.
This site does not require visitors to login as users. Because administrators of this site are the only individuals who can login to edit and make changes to the site structure and content, we use a security plugin that stores the ip address of any malicious user attempting to gain access to the administrative sections of this site.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms
When submitting a question via our contact form users supply to us their name, email address and question. We store this information indefinitely for customer service purposes and so that we may respond to all submitted questions.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
This site’s security plugin uses cookies to prevent attacks from malicious users.
Embedded content from other websites
Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
To improve your use of the site we use Google Analytics to track site usage. To protect your privacy through our use of Google Analytics we have enabled anonymization of ip addresses, disabled demographics and interest reports, and disabled author and UserID tracking.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We use third party service providers to help us operate our business through website hosting and mailing list services. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment or submit an inquiry via our contact form, the comment and its metadata and your submitted form information are retained indefinitely. This is so we can respond to inquiries and recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. When you consent to receive our e-newsletter the submitted information is shared with our mailing list provider, MailChimp so that we may deliver to you the e-newsletter. When you submit a form inquiry this information is transmitted via our web hosting provider, LiquidWeb.
