We are very excited to announce the upcoming release of our newest piano resource, The Curious Case Of Muttzart and Ratmaninoff (Adventures in Composing, For Kids Ages 7 to 11).
Over the past several months we’ve been bustin’ it, creating a product that will revolutionize composing with kids, in much the same way Shhhh… Your Piano Teacher Thinks This Is Practice has shed a new light on piano practice.
The Curious Case of Muttzart and Ratmaninoff takes kids ages 7 to 11 on an exciting adventure into the world of composing. Using quick whit, creative design, and clever scaffolding, the book moves piano students from creating simple building blocks to composing all-out piano pieces of their very own.

With a new composing activity each week for 3 months, our newest product will keep your students engaged and begging for more.
Can’t Beat This…
Just like our other products, The Curious Case of Muttzart and Ratmaninoff will be released as a digital download, meaning your purchase will include an unlimited license to print as many copies as you need… forever (as long as they will be used by you, with your own piano students). Printed copies cannot be resold, but a small student charge to cover your photocopying costs is permitted.

Can’t wait!
sounds amazing!
This looks like so much fun!
looking forward!
Super excited! 🙂
ha ha, I love your ad! Do you design websites??
This could be a fun idea for music camp???
Hi Sylvia – absolutely, it would work great for that purpose!
I would be interested to see what you have….
Your promo video is wonderful!
Thanks
This looks great! I have already been planning a composition workshop for this summer! Is this something that could be used for 8-10 lessons as a camp curriculum? Looks awesome!!
Hi Lynn – absolutely. There are enough lessons for 12 weeks working at a one-lesson per week rate so you could adapt as you saw fit. You could really have a great “Muttzart and Ratmaninoff” theme going for your camp. Your kids will just love their characters!
This is exactly what I hoped you would produce! Very excited for February 12th to arrive! Also looking forward to purchasing “Shhhh” to help bring fun to the piano practice frenzy before the spring recital!
Glad to hear it Carol! We can’t wait to hear how your piano students like this new book as well as the “Shhh…Your Piano Teacher Thinks This is Practice” book 🙂
Well, I just started a couple of students on the first lesson and I think they’re hooked. The story and characters are just too cute. Very engaging. Now, if I could link a cute story to every part of my piano curriculum, I would be the most rockin’ piano teacher in the land.
Hi Terry – that’s wonderful! We’re working on making all aspects of piano lessons “rockin” 🙂
When is the next volume of Muttzart coming out? LOVED the first one!
Hi Mary! I’m so glad you loved it! We have a BRAND new set of these books coming out next year – likely in the fall. We’ll announce it on the blog for sure 🙂
