Once a month, Andrea and I take a quick break from our regular blog posts to share the latest games from our monthly resource PianoGameClub. If you’re looking to pump up the fun in your lessons, then check out our game previews at the end of this post.
While it seems like summer has just started, for many piano teachers, another year of music is right around the corner. But rather than worry about losing precious days of summer planning exciting, start-of-year activities… today we’re previewing four resources that will let you squeeze out every last drop of summer!
You’ll Be Back To “Summer Fun” In 5 Minutes
Guilt-free summer relaxation is something I really struggle with. The moment I feel myself start to relax, this niggling voice in the back of my mind reminds me that there must be something “useful” I should really be doing.
If you hear this voice too, tell it to “take a hike” by quickly replenishing your teaching materials with this month’s printable resources from PianoGameClub. With these games in your hands you’ll be able to relax knowing you have piano theory and ear training covered in a creative, exciting, and “word-of-mouth worthy” way this teaching term!
This July, our members are receiving a creatively kooky set that includes some hungry, hairy spiders, a couple of marshmallow-eating mummies, a frantic fish and three floating farm animals, your kids will be sprinting through your studio door in August and September to learn about ledger line notes, steps and skips, time signatures, and rhythm recognition.

Hi Andrea!
I want to sign up for the game club my question is though…can I buy the book club books separately when I see one I want to use? I can’t quite afford to do both clubs each month. Thank you!
