Summer is here and Andrea and I are definitely not on vacation.
Last year, and the year before that (and really most summers in recent memory) we have taken a few weeks to head out on a family vacation.
This year, of course, is different. Like you, we’re having to stay close to home.
And while we’re missing our summer break, there is definitely a silver lining. We are having one of our most creative and prolific years of piano book publication.
You are probably very excited to know that when another year of teaching begins, WunderKeys Elementary Piano Level 2A and WunderKeys For Older Beginners will be ready for your students.
On top of that, we’re working feverishly on Andrea And Trevor Dow’s Timed Note Reading Tests For Piano, Book 2. This book will cover note reading in Treble C position and G position… which we know many of you have been asking for.
A Timed Tests For Teen Piano is also in the works for the fall. But for now, we have a second set of printable timed tests for your teens to tide them over while they wait for the full resource.
You can email these printable timed tests to your teens so they don’t forget about their music education over the summer.
Timed Tests For Piano Students
Before we get to today’s printables, we want to share with you what piano teachers think of our first timed tests workbook: Andrea and Trevor Dow’s Timed Note Reading Tests For Piano Book 1: 90 Days Of Exercises In Middle C Position And C Position…
“Once again, Andrea and Trevor Dow deliver an A+ product!!!! This is perfect for summer break! I’m so excited to see how my students progress over the next few months using this engaging student and piano teacher-friendly book!”
“Love this new book!! I ordered it to help a struggling student. It was wonderful to see excitement return to her eyes as she accepted the “challenge” to “beat her own time” on note recognition and drawing. I know this will make a huge difference in her playing!”
“This timed note reading tests/activity book is a superb, engaging workbook to support early piano learning using WunderKeys or any other early method book. It has an excellent step-by-step sequence with fun graphics to capture the attention of BOTH younger and older beginners. It can be used as a short daily resource yet is flexible to enhance any early learner personal goals. I will be using it immediately in my studio.”
If you have primer or level 1 piano students who need extra note reading reinforcement you can get Andrea And Trevor Dow’s Timed Note Reading Tests For Piano, Book 1 here.
Download Timed Note Reading Tests For Teens
As mentioned earlier, a book of timed note reading tests for teens is in the early stages of development. In the meantime, we have a second set of free teen printables to help older students reinforce their understanding of key signatures. You can learn more about Set 1 here.

I haven’t received the July Monthly Book Club as of July 21st. I’ve checked emails and spam and it hasn’t come yet to my email. Could you please advise me on how I can obtain it? Thanks. Sharon Chaney
