The transition between Halloween and Christmas is lightning-fast. One night kids are trick-or-treating and then the very next morning they are making a Christmas list 🙂
Today’s piano piece has a little fun with this transition.
Composed for level 1B students, Definitely Not Deck The Halls is a Halloween parody that can be enjoyed as an easy practice piece for older students or a challenge piece for younger students.
A Halloween Parody And Some Christmas Music
You can download our Halloween Piano Parody at the bottom of today’s post but first…
As mentioned, Halloween will be gone in the blink of an eye, so it is time for piano teachers to start thinking about Christmas music.

In July, we shared Definitely Not We Wish You A Merry Christmas: A Christmas In July Parody. Piano students everywhere had an absolute blast.
With Halloween just around the corner and then Christmas in the not-so-distant future, the time seemed right for another parody!
