With Easter behind us, the next major event on every piano teacher’s calendar is the end-of-year recital.
And it is going to come way faster than you think!
Now is the time to select repertoire and set your students up with a weekly action plan that counts down to the big day.
Then, when your kids sit down in front of an audience they will be ready to deliver a performance that celebrates all they have achieved.
In today’s post, we are sharing a set of 5 piano recital practice sheets that you can use to help develop this action plan.

Piano Recital Practice Sheets For Performance Success
Delivering a successful recital performance involves structured preparation and practice. Finding tools to support this process is essential.
Today’s Piano Recital Practice Sheets should be the first tools employed.
With a double-sided format, the front of each sheet sets out the general plan and main goals. On this side, students will record the name of their recital piece and the date of the recital and then identify their strengths and weaknesses as related to the selected repertoire.
The back of each sheet is where the action plan is developed. It includes a four-week countdown where students list the steps they must complete each week to prepare for the end-of-year recital.
In addition, the sections dedicated to each week include a daily tracker where students can color in a square for each day practiced.
The Piano Recital Practice Sheets are simple and effective. Also, adorable characters from the Very Useful Piano Library adorn the sheets to help make everything a little less stressful.
(Note: We have included one sheet for older students who may be too cool for cute characters.)
