Today’s update transforms those music history flashcards into a printable board game—complete with a race to the finish, surprise square instructions, and all the hilarity of the original. It’s the same game you loved, now with a brand-new way to play.
The Music History Game Where Laughter = Progress
In this updated version, players race around a game board by correctly guessing whether statements are “Probably True” or “Funny But False.” Some squares move them forward, others send them back, and all of them keep the fun rolling. It’s a perfect blend of brainwork and movement—and the ideal music history game for piano students.
Here’s how it works:
- Player 1 reads a card and guesses: “Probably True” or “Funny But False?”
- They flip the card to reveal the answer and a movement number.
- A correct answer = forward movement. A wrong one = stay put.
- Some board squares include bonus instructions—like “Go back 3!”
- Players take turns until someone reaches FINISH… or until all the cards are used.
- If no one reaches the end, the player closest to FINISH wins!
