I love it when people find ways to bridge the gap between classical music and contemporary music. Instead of choosing one or the other, blurred lines between classical and contemporary music mean that both styles reap the rewards of increased exposure.
Can Piano Teachers Blur The Classical/ Contemporary Line?
Our piano students shouldn’t have to choose between one form of music or another like some sort of custody battle. Instead piano teachers should use their students’ passion for contemporary music as an entry point to learning classical music.
