Teens are not the easiest group of students to motivate when it comes time for a recital performance. With a heightened sense of self-awareness, hitting the stage is something they often want to avoid.
But not this year!
Today we are showcasing a resource of powerful celtic piano solos that will make your teens feel like rock stars and your audience feel like they’ve just emerged from a Carnegie Hall concert. From now until your fall or winter piano recitals, your teens will be so engrossed in this celtic music their parents will have to peel them from the bench!
The Guardians of Ballinmore – Celtic Piano Solos For Teens
The Guardians of Ballinmore is the highly-anticipated and long-awaited follow-up to our first collection of Celtic piano solos, The Guardians of Arranmore. For over three years we’ve been receiving messages from teachers begging for a “Guardians return”. Here is what teachers are saying:
“Andrea Dow, you’ve done it again (and again and again…and again). And oh my goodness, I LOVE the Ballinmore music…soooo beautiful. I already have four of my teens in mind for that one. I’m predicting I’ll hear lots of these tunes at my next recital.”
“My teens are all over this Guardians of Arranmore book. It’s almost comical. You definitely have your finger on what appeals to them. I’m grateful for that.”
“HOLY COW! I’ve never had a student get this excited over learning a piece, she LOVED it! She began to pick it up quickly and she kept repeating, “I love this, I LOVE this!”
The Guardians of Ballinmore features 7 powerful piano solos inspired by the legend of a mysterious band of celtic youth who, in 49 AD, descended on the small village of Ballinmore, repelled the attacking Roman army, and saved Ireland.

Julie Wegener says
Is it possible to purchase Guardians of Ballinmore without joining the monthly book club? Thank you.
Andrea says
Hi Julie! The membership is the only way to purchase it as a digital download with a studio license. Some of our book are published in hardcopy on Amazon after they are offered digitally and this book will likely be one of those 🙂
LINDA KIRKCONNELL says
Oh my goodness! Color me Happy!! Thank you!
Andrea says
Hi Linda! So glad you’re excited about this book 🙂 Enjoy!
Barbara says
My students and I LOVE Guardians of Arranmore and I’m sure we’ll love this one too! Only wish these two were sold as hardcopy like the “Sessions” books. They are such impressive pieces with impressive graphics, but printing it out just doesn’t do it justice. And having it printed and bound at a print shop is too cost prohibitive when you only have 5-6 teens. I think students would prefer to have it in actual book form that’s easy to take with them to play it at school and for friends. Looking forward to introducing this one to those who’ve already played “Arranmore.”
Andrea says
Hi Barbara! These two books likely will be offered in hardcopy on Amazon soon – the opportunity to purchase it as a digital download (with a studio license for those who want that) is through the PianoBookClub this month 🙂 Enjoy the music!
Barbara says
Best news of the day:)
Andrea says
So glad you’re excited, Barbara! 🙂
Jennifer Short says

Sandy Fortier says
My students will be so excited. I’m happy to have more appealing teen music too.

Kathy says
how and where can I buy this?
Andrea says
Hi Kathy – this digital book is only available through a membership to PianoBookClub.com. When you sign up (as long as you do so before September 30th) then this is the first book you’ll receive as a pdf (by email).
Linda Naugher says
I am already a member. How do I get this collection of Celtic music, also Guardians of Arranmore?
Andrea says
Hi Linda! This book was delivered to you on your delivery date of September 5th. Did you want to email me so I can help you find it? The Guardians of Arranmore will by published by Amazon in October 🙂
Rita Baker-Schmidt says
Is there a sample page of Celtic music / Guardians of Arranmore? I want to gage if my student will like it before I recommend he make the purchase.
Andrea says
Hi Rita! The Guardians of Arranmore isn’t available right now, but if you click on the image of the Guardians of Ballinmore book above you can flip through to see the music 🙂 When The Guardians of Arranmore is up on Amazon in October we’ll put up a preview 🙂
Rebecca Case says
I gave Saorla Rising to a student today…I hope he loves it! The “Wolf” piece was the first song he has been excited about in a long time!
Will the Guardians of Arranmore be one of the Past Book selections? I see you are going to offer it on Amazon, but I am loving having a digital copy of all the music. I joined the PianoBookClub sometime in 2016, so it must have come out before then.
