So many fads come and go; from Furbies to fidget spinners, there have always been things that capture the attention of kids for a few fleeting moments.
But there is one thing that never goes out of style: coloring.
Ever since cave kids colored on the sides of caves, it has been a captivating, peaceful pastime for our littlest learners. Its lasting appeal inspired Trevor and I to create a coloring activity to reinforce note reading.
In today’s post, we’re sharing coloring printables to reinforce note reading in middle C position.
Coloring Pages To Reinforce Middle C Note Reading
We are constantly looking for piano homework activities that feel nothing like homework. And nothing suits our search better than coloring pages!
The printable pages below can be sent home for note reading practice, left out in your waiting room for impatient students, or used as distractions during long rides in the car.
The first coloring page reinforces middle C position note reading on the treble staff and the second coloring page reinforces middle C position note reading on the bass staff.
Our note reading printables, as well as many additional fun theory activities, can be downloaded by visiting Teach Piano Today’s Homework Pages (click the pink button after the image below).
