We’ve been composing inspiring teen repertoire for years. But our teen books have, for the most part, been multi-leveled. Because of this, there has never been an exact pathway to progress through our teen repertoire.
This needed to change. We wanted to create a way for teen piano students to move through our performance repertoire in a leveled, progressive manner, while still being able to play the WunderKeys teen music that teachers and students have come to know and love.
To accomplish this task, we decided to find our most popular piano pieces and rework them to align with the skill progression presented in WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Studies For Piano 1.
While the perfect decision, this task turned out to be a little more work than anticipated! To fit a leveled approach, many of our greatest hits needed key changes, developmentally-appropriate left-hand patterns, and adaptations for the hands of teens who would be working at an Intermediate 1 level (the equivalent of a standard level 3 method book).
But, the result was well worth the effort; we believe we’ve created a performance book that will have a home in your studios for years to come!

This book will be released in hardcopy on Amazon – it’s in full color and so the cost of printing it would be over $30 (plus the initial cost of a studio license) which we knew would not be helpful to piano teachers 🙂 The color allows teachers to easily match the repertoire with the keys presented in WunderKeys Pop Studies Book 1 so it acts as a true companion book.
