Trevor and I can’t believe another year has come and gone. Every year seems to fly by, but for us, this year was a real blur.
We hit the ground running last January with the release of WunderKeys Elementary Piano Level 1A and then continued a feverish pace with the release of WunderKeys Rock Repertoire For Teen Beginners 2 on February 26.
In April we launched WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Studies For Piano 1. The massive reception we received for this book kicked us into overdrive and led us to complete WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Studies For Piano 2 and then An Intermediate Performance Companion For Pop Studies 1 AND An Intermediate Performance Companion For Pop Studies 2.
And we weren’t done yet!
In September we completed our level 1 series with the release of WunderKeys Elementary Piano Level 1B.
As we said, we were busy. And this list doesn’t include our monthly PianoBookClub and PianoGameClub releases!
Keeping this pace is a challenge to say the least. Most people assume Trevor and I have a team supporting us, but this isn’t the case; it is really just the two of us, working as hard as we can to support a community that has given us so much in return. Every email response, Facebook message, piano printable, blog post and musical resource comes from us.
We could never keep going without a community of teachers who give back to us so much with their kind words and support of our resources.
So, thank you for a wonderful year! In today’s post, we are sharing 2019 highlights from the blog that will help you rock 2020!

The Teach Piano Today and WunderKeys 2019 Hall Of Fame
1. The Growing With WunderKeys Toolkit

Without a doubt, our most popular posts of the year involve the Growing With WunderKeys Online Toolkit. And for good reason; with the launch of this resource, we gave teachers access to a treasure trove of free piano printables to help with studio growth and lesson preparation.
If you haven’t checked out this resource you don’t know what you are missing! You can join here.
2. The Teach Piano Today Homework Pages

2019 was the Year of the Piano Printable for us! Our second most popular post was the announcement of the Teach Piano Today Homework Pages. With the launch of this resource, we gave teachers access to a constantly-growing library of free printable piano homework pages that allow students to reinforce important skills with enjoyable and unique pencil and paper activities.

3. 5 Housekeeping Piano Printables For Your Studio

Sometimes our simplest posts get the most attention. That was the case when we shared our Housekeeping Piano Printables back in September. If you work from home, then you deal with students and families trudging through your house on a daily basis. To protect your sanctuary we created 5 printable posters that contain friendly little reminders to help students and families respect your personal space.
4. Text Messages For Piano Parents

If you have been teaching for a few years, your communication with piano parents has probably transitioned from phone calls to emails to text messages. This year, we started creating warm, fuzzy text message images to make communications even easier and more memorable.
Texting with parents is a quick and easy way to keep in touch. While sending a short follow-up text after a lesson will be appreciated, texting our warm n’ fuzzy text message graphics will be so much more meaningful… and will really make your studio stand out in a professional way.
You can get started with our text message images here.
5. Making Your Teaching Work With Teens

This year was a big year for WunderKeys as we expanded our resources to include a focus on teen piano students. Where teaching preschoolers was once our focus, teachers are now embracing our resources for all ages.
This increased attention to piano-playing teens showed up on the Teach Piano Today blog as well. If you teach teens then you’ll want to check out our two most popular teen posts from 2019:
