Update: This post has been updated with 2021 Calendars for January, February, and March.
For teen piano students, the calendar flipping to a new year can be a time of panic. Prior to Christmas, things are pretty relaxed; but when January hits, teens start thinking about upcoming exams, graduation… the future!
Their minds are cluttered with all sorts of anxiety. And if their piano education is to have any chance of survival, you’re going to have to help them stay organized.
To keep your students focused, today we are sharing printable teen piano calendars for the months of January, February, and March.
Provide Clarity For Your Teen Piano Players
We first shared our teen calendars in October of last year and they were a hit with our community. They are visually attractive and allow teens to see where they will wind up on their piano journey.
While the calendars work well as stand alone printables and can be used with any teens using any piano program, we have designed them to be visually compatible with the WunderKeys teen piano series, including the following books available on Amazon:
- WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Studies For Piano 1
- An Intermediate Performance Companion For Pop Studies 1
- WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Studies For Piano 2
- An Intermediate Performance Companion For Pop Studies 2
- WunderKeys Intermediate Pop Studies For Piano 3
How To Use The Teen Piano Calendars
The printable package that you can download here (or by clicking on the image below) contains three planners for the months of January, February and March.
Each planner contains a calendar, daily circles that can be checked off when their practice is complete, and areas for recording skill acquisition, completed repertoire, and goals for future months.
Print these planners off, stick them in your students’ piano binders (in a side-to-side format) and watch the impact a little organization will have on their piano playing.

Wow! These are perfect!! Was just thinking yesterday that I needed something like this for my older kids. Do you have them write in what they practice each day, or what are some suggestions to fill in those squares?

Hi Andrea and Trevor, These calendar pages look great! I have a problem with downloading them, though. All I get is a gray page, and there isn’t a box to click on.
Also, do you have plans to add calendar pages for April and May?
Thanks, so much!
Nina

Hi Nina! Did you want to email me and I can send them to you? There isn’t anything wrong with the link (I just tested it) but maybe you have some sort of setting in your browser 🙂
